Which bike is the best? The answer is the bike that FITS you the best. For those who are shopping around for new road or tri-bikes, I would urge you to keep an open mind and not wed yourself to a specific brand or model. In the end, having a high end $5000 plus bike that doesn't fit will ultimately do you no good as you get passed by a cyclist on a huffy. If you already own a bike, instead of purchasing upgrades for your bike, you may consider getting a professional fit from a bike shop if you haven't already been fitted. It's the cheapest way to buy speed.
If you look at the pros from Kona they all have very similar positions on the bike. It looks like they are finding the right balance of aggressiveness with a position that they can hold for the as long as possible. I believe Craig Alexander has stated that may only leave the aero position once or twice the entire during the entire 112 miles. Check out this video of the pros riding in Kona.
