Met four Detroit Iron group members riding at Island Lake today and learned about the group. Given my work schedule I have typically trained alone in the past, but thought I'd investigate participating to make it a little more interesting.
Not doing an Ironman this year, but did Ironman Canada last year - my first one. Looking to do another Ironman event in 2011 - thinking about Louisville or even France. Any suggestions?
I will be doing Steelhead this year - sounds like a lot of you will be at that event.

Jeff, good to have you aboard (again I'm LATE). How did Steelhead go for you? There were certainly a bunch of Detroit Iron racers out there so hopefully you got to meet some more of us.
I am doing IM Canada next year with a few others and would love to hear more about it. Where did you end up staying? Did you fly into Spokane? I hear France is pretty tough but I'd do it if I could. I would say go for it!
