Mark your calendars! Next year's [b]Tour de Cure is scheduled to take place on June 5, 2010. [/b]
The Southeast Michigan Tour de Cure begins at Brighton High School and offers great riding options for everyone:
o A family friendly 5-10 mile route through nearby neighborhoods
o Three mountain bike routes – 5, 9 & 14 miles
o The 25-mile fitness route on relatively flat roads for a moderate ride
o The 50-mile route for the weekend warriors
o The 75-mile route for those more experienced riders
o The 100-mile century with hills for a real challenge
All rides include stocked rest stops, on-course bike and medical support, and over 200 volunteers taking care of your day of event needs. An additional lunch stop will be provided on our 100-mile route. We offer great ride options for every skill level. Our finish line activities include a catered lunch, complimentary massages, live entertainment, vendors/exhibits, goodie bags, and a silent auction.
Registration is $15 until March 22, 2010 and $25 after March 22. A minimum goal of $150 in fundraising is required per rider, and all funds go to support diabetes research, education and advocacy. If you have diabetes be sure to register online as a RED RIDER and be recognized for your courage in living with diabetes every day. All riders will also receive a T-shirt and goodie bag the day of the ride. Ride for an excellent cause and help to STOP DIABETES in Michigan.
