Has anyone in the group ever biked from Detroit to Lansing?

Hi all:

I am thinking of doing an "justice" awareness ride from Detroit to Lansing in May for my churches yearly assembly. I am the chair of the environmental justice task force and we are hoping to stimulate awareness of justice issues in SE Michigan and beyond. My question for the group: has anyone ever biked from Detroit to Lansing? If so, what route did you take? How were the roads? Any information/guidance would be appreciated.

I've never done that ride but there has to be a good route somewhere. Let me check with some people and see if i can find anyone that has a route that goes anywhere near Lansing.
