Winter Swim Training...Where do you do it?

I live in the Wixom area and have yet to find a public lap pool that I can swim at relatively cheaply. I know I could spend big bucks to join lifetime fitness but I already have a gym membership that I won for free, it just doesn't have a pool.

The high school pools I have found in this area seem to have 1 hour of lap swim available each night, so it isn't very convenient.

SO where do you all in this area swim in the winter?

First off, sorry for the late reply! Our group, Detroit Iron Triathlon, has weekly swim training for members at Royal Oak high school. There are some other details and you have to be a member but it's great because we also have a swim coach that puts together our workouts!

Other than that, I've found that there's a Master's swim group at West Bloomfield high school. I believe they meet on Monday's. Check out Michigan Master's Places to Swim.
