Xterra Wetsuits

Postby MikeJ » Wed Oct 21, 2009 9:54 pm

So what does everyone think of Xterra wetsuits? I was thinking of ordering the Vortex 3 full suit. Anyone have that one? Any comments on their sizing?
Thanks,
Mike

I have that wetsuit and so does Damon and other Detroit Iron members. I think it's great, although I've never had another wetsuit. Damon likes it, too. They often have really good deals on that wetsuit. I think we got ours at 50% off. As for sizing, I ordered two sizes when I got mine. Both sizes seemed to fit, but I went with the larger size because the part around my neck felt more comfortable.

Good luck!

Yeah, I've heard they're good. I would really like to get the Vector Pro X2 but that's just because I think I'm really cool. I think the Vortex 3 is enough wetsuit for most people. In fact I believe a good chunk of those people beat me out the of water at Placid...

Thanks for the feedback! I ended up ordering the vortex 3 full sleeve wetsuit last week -- should have it on Thursday :) I figured that deal was too good to pass up, and I'll take all the help I can get on the swim.

Cool Mikey. I think you'll like it quite a bit! And nice job in NYC!
